On behalf of AmCham Vietnam, thank you for your support of the 27th AmCham Annual Independence Day Celebration and Community Picnic in HCMC, held at Riverside Apartments on Saturday, July 2nd, 2022.
Nearly 1000 AmCham members, family and guests enjoyed this "All-American event - including the food and beverages, gifts and prizes, entertainment, and the beautiful location with all the "4th of July" decorations. Our guests enjoyed the day of celebrations, including authentic, high-quality American, Vietnamese and International food and beverages, children's activities, live music, and our official program. We were honored that U.S. Consul General Marie Damour joined Chair Winnie Wong to kick off our program with the U.S. Marine Color Guard flag ceremony, including the beautiful voice of Samantha Weisberg for the U.S. national anthem, followed by the drum corps-escorted entry of the birthday cake, with Mimi Vu and Van Ly serving as our MCs. All aspects of the day contributed to the feeling of an American-style Independence Day Celebration here in Saigon.
The food and beverage services and prizes donated by our sponsors were well received by all. We received many gues compliments on these and other aspects of this years's event - one of the best ever - thanks to your support!
We have already scheduled our 28th Independence Day Celebration and Community Picnic for Saturday, July 1st, 2023. Please mark your calendar and join us.
