Our milestones

1992

In 1992, Major General Phan Van Xoan retired. Having had experience working abroad and witnessing the spirit of the 6th National Congress, Vietnam's opening up, fostering international friendships, and welcoming foreign investment, he recognized that the demand for security among investors would be significant. With this foresight, he applied along with economic justifications to establish a private security services company.

The name “Long Hải” was chosen to symbolize Vietnam: the shape of the letter “S” resembling a dragon (Long), and its long coastline (Hải). It represents a nation in renewal, like a mighty Sea Dragon rising and soaring powerfully into the future.

01/10/1994

In 1994, Major General Phan Van Xoan completed and submitted the economic feasibility study to establish Long Hai Security Services Trading Co., Ltd. Following this, the company was officially licensed as the first pilot private enterprise in Vietnam, authorized to provide security services.

06/09/1995

Founded by Major General Phan Van Xoan, Long Hai Security Services Trading Co., Ltd. was officially established.

30/10/1995

Major General Phan Van Xoan completed all legal procedures and was granted the Business Registration Certificate at 286 An Duong Vuong Street, Ward 4, District 5, Ho Chi Minh City.

This milestone marked the official founding of Long Hai Security Services Trading Co., Ltd., the first private enterprise in Vietnam to operate in the field of professional security services.

At its inception, the company began operations with just 44 security officers, guided and driven by three core objectives:

• Providing peace of mind for investors, contributing to public safety, and social security.

• Creating employment opportunities for young adults who had completed their service in the police or military, helping them pursue purposeful careers while extending the support role of the national security forces.

• Ensuring effective business operations, fulfilling tax obligations and financial responsibilities, thereby contributing to the sustainable growth and prosperity of the country.

The company operates under the guiding principle:
“Quality First, Business Follows.”

06/12/1995

Long Hai Security Services Trading Co., Ltd. was officially inaugurated, marking the beginning of its journey in delivering professional security services in Vietnam. This milestone reflects the company’s strong commitment to ensuring safety and security, while providing high-quality services to its clients.

09/01/1996

Completed the registration of trademark No. 21262 – Shield Logo.

15/03/1996

The company completed the registration procedures to officially change its head office address to 76 Hung Vuong Street, Ward 4, District 5, Ho Chi Minh City. This relocation was carried out to meet the demands of growth, expand operational scale, and create more favorable conditions for management, administration, and the service of clients and partners.

06/09/1997

The Trade Union of Long Hai Security Services Trading Co., Ltd. was officially established, marking an important milestone in building an organization representing the rights of employees. Its formation not only created a strong bridge between the company’s leadership and staff but also reaffirmed the company’s commitment to caring for employee welfare and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of all personnel.

Long Hai officially established its first Central Monitoring Station (CMS), marking a significant milestone in integrating modern technology into security services. The launch of the CMS opened a new era in monitoring and response capabilities, enabling Long Hai to enhance operational efficiency while delivering more professional, timely, and reliable security solutions to its clients.

15/06/1998

Long Hai established its Branch Office in Ba Ria – Vung Tau (BRVT), expanding the company’s presence and operational reach. This strategic move aimed to meet the growing needs of clients in this key economic region while reaffirming Long Hai’s long-term commitment to sustainable development.

23/10/1998

Amid Vietnam’s rapid economic growth and the surge of foreign investment, particularly in the northern region, Long Hai officially established its Hanoi Branch. This milestone not only expanded the company’s operational footprint but also addressed the increasing security needs of international businesses and executives visiting and investing in Vietnam.

20/03/1999

Long Hai officially registered trademark No. 34565 featuring the Sea Dragon logo. This milestone affirmed the company’s brand identity and laid the foundation for building a professional corporate image, while symbolizing Long Hai’s ambition to reach further and its enduring strength in the security services market.

22/03/1999

Long Hai further affirmed its strong growth by increasing charter capital from VND 770 million to VND 1.5 billion, as recorded in the 3rd Business Registration Certificate. This important step strengthened the company’s financial capacity, expanded its operational scale, and enhanced its ability to meet the increasingly diverse needs of clients and partners.

25/06/1999

Long Hai officially became the exclusive partner of Brink’s, one of the world’s leading security and valuables transportation corporations. Along with this partnership, the company was granted authorization to provide high-value asset transportation using armored vehicles, marking a significant milestone in enhancing its service capabilities, meeting international standards, and strengthening Long Hai’s reputation in the security and cash logistics market.

Long Hai officially established its Can Tho Branch Office, expanding its operational network into the Mekong Delta region. This strategic move brought Long Hai’s professional security services closer to clients in one of Southern Vietnam’s key economic areas, while reaffirming the company’s commitment to sustainable and long-term development.

Long Hai continued to expand its operational network with the establishment of its Dong Nai Branch Office. Long Hai officially added “K9 training and service dog provision” to its business scope, as recorded in the 4th Business Registration Certificate. This milestone marked an important step in diversifying services, enhancing professional capabilities, and reaffirming Long Hai’s pioneering position in Vietnam’s professional security industry.

Long Hai further expanded its network with the establishment of its Binh Duong Branch Office. This milestone not only underscored the company’s strategic vision of establishing a presence in key economic zones, but also enabled Long Hai to promptly meet the rising demand for security services in one of Vietnam’s most dynamic industrial centers.

Long Hai officially relocated its head office to 157 Vo Van Tan, Ward 6, District 3, Ho Chi Minh City, as recorded in the 6th Business Registration Certificate. This marked a significant turning point, creating more favorable conditions for management and development, while underscoring the company’s growth and increasing professionalism throughout its expansion journey.

In 2004, Long Hai was honored to be officially awarded the ISO 9001:2000 certification by SGS Vietnam Co., Ltd. This recognition served as a testament to the company’s unwavering commitment to continuous improvement and service quality excellence.

Long Hai officially transformed its business structure from a Limited Liability Company (LLC) to a Joint Stock Company (JSC). This marked a significant turning point, reflecting the company’s maturity and remarkable growth, while opening up broader opportunities for capital mobilization and enhancing both governance capacity and transparency in business operations.

Long Hai officially increased its charter capital to VND 20 billion, as recorded in the 1st Business Registration Certificate of the Joint Stock Company.
