At 9:30 p.m. on August 30, 2022, shift leader Dang Ba Toan, on duty at shift 2, Gate 1 of the T.L. factory location, saw that the light bulb behind the corner of the raw material warehouse was not lit. He came to check and discovered a large fire in the insulation lining covering the shoe-form area under the Tole roof. Security guard Toan shouted loudly that there was a fire, then used a fire extinguisher to extinguish and control the fire while Mr. M was on duty at the factory, and other security officers came to assist in fighting the fire.

The cause of the fire was determined to be an electrical short circuit on the Tole roof covering the shoe-forming area.

During the firefighting procedure, shift leader Toan used up to two Fire Extinguishing Powder to successfully stop the fire from spreading.
